Had fun doing this journal page for the artistic challenge. I hope it is 'swirly' enough. I used my finger to swirl 3 diff shades of blue gelatos over gesso on then used Kazzaz stamp bubbles then a mask with acrylic paint to make a splash. I discovered it bubbles when over heated with the heat gun so I tried to do it more, thinking it would make a cool 'wet' look and add to the splash effect but most of the bubbles just deflated again straight away :( quote found on Pinterest.

ReplyDeleteOh yes, plenty of swirl going on there...it really does give the illusion of water! And that quote is REALLY neat! I like the bubbling effect, too.....if you whack on LOTS of gesso, it tends to bubble up a bit better...it's a great fun effect, eh??
