'Fly with Me' By Elisa Ablett - Mixed Media Tag for Rubber Dance Stamps May Colour Challenge

Hi all,

Something completely different today!

I was so excited when I received my first Rubber Dance Stamps - Butterfly Girl 2 stamp from Ink Art Designs in Australia so I popped over to the blog for inspiration when I saw the May Colour Challenge and thought I would give it a go  :-)

Here is the very colourful mixed media tag that I created for the May Colour Challenge based on the below mood board.

Here are some close ups of the finer details and my gorgeous Butterfly Girl 2 stamp!

I stamped it twice and coloured each layer to create a multdimensional effect and the vision of her flying.

The gorgeous shimmer you see is due to Daler -Rowney Acrylic Inks - Metallic in Rose Petal.

Thanks for stopping by the blog today, I hope that you go visit the Rubber Dance or Ink Art shop via the links I provided above and grab some of these unique and great quality stamps :-)

Thanks xx

New Month New Challenges!! - Kraft Plus Challenge Blog

Hi to all my crafty friends and to those who have found their way to the blog!

It's the start of June and that means a whole host of new challenges.

Im here to share the first of my new challenge layouts for the month of June as part of my design team creativeness....

Design Team laout for

Here is the new challenge criteria and following is the layout i created for the Design Team.

AND here is what i created.... a mixed media layout with an awesome quote....

'Take some pieces of Dreams and make Art'

I had a blank children's puzzle which i split into two pieces and gesso'd over the top, i then added Distress paints and Colour Blast Paste and Sprays in Bling, Rose Petal and Envy. Add some heavy metallic black shading using Daler Rowney Acrylic Ink and some awesome Stampendous stamps and hessian garden twine twirled into circles.....

To add dimension i used 3d foam mounting squares to a few puzzle pieces and the ladies face, then again i used a puzzle piece for the face and foam mounted it up.

That's about it for me today, tomorrow i'll share my next layout which i created for Off the Rails Scrapbooking Challenge Blog.

Thanks and make sure you leave some love...

Kraft Plus - April Challenge Design Team Layout - By Elisa

Hi Crafty Friends,

Good News - It's the start of the month and that means a new exciting challenge over at our favourite Kraft Challenge Blog

Make sure you click on the link and head on over and be amazed at all the different design team projects for the release of this challenge.

This is the layout that created -

I used a new stamp set from Prima Marketing (Ink and Layer) Flora Set, Chipboard frame from WOW Words or Whatever, White Punchinella, Kaisercraft Rub-on's and Kaisercraft texture script stamp and sequin bow from D-lish.

But i really want to rave about the new pearlescent Acrylic inks from Daler-Rowney that i recently acquired, amazing colour, vibrancy and just plain awesome to work with. I used the white and black inks for this layout.

Here is a close up of the shimmer and shine of the inks.

Thanks for stopping by today, make sure you leave some love...
